This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure and Cloud Architect with expertise in infrastructure, Cloud and InfoSec technologies to support Robotics and Automation business globally on design, implementation and improvement of secure hybrid platforms to drive our digital products and services. You will be mainly accountable for: • Support the business to evaluate new platforms and services, including how to secure them. • Evaluate or propose migration of legacy workloads to cloud platforms, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. • Evaluate or propose cloud-native solutions, leveraging best practices in security, scalability, and cost management. • Establish governance frameworks for cloud environments together with global teams. • Lead the design of global reference architectures for RA and align Business Area architecture with global Infra and InfoSec standards. • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Design robust infrastructure architectures for hybrid environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, private cloud). • Support the business to simplify local infrastructure, including compute, storage, and networking components. Provide designs and guide design work as provided by Core IS and third party. • Optimize local infrastructure to ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and compliance with industry standards. • Evaluate and implement virtualization and containerization technologies as needed. • Assist with problem management and root cause analysis in case of issues with applications and platform teams. • Support M&A integration and divestment efforts.

Qualifications for the role

• 10+ years of experience in cloud, infrastructure, and information security.
• Proven expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including IaaS, PaaS, and hybrid solutions.
• Understanding of networking (LAN/WAN, firewalls, SD-WAN), storage (SAN/NAS), and server architecture.
• Strong experience with automation and orchestration tools (Terraform, Ansible).
• Knowledge of containerization platforms (Kubernetes, Docker) and PaaS offerings of cloud providers.
• Experience in designing and managing on premise environments, including virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Broad knowledge and experience across IT infrastructure with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001, NIST, CSA, ISO, MITRE, or Well-Architected Framework for Azure, GCP or AWS.
• Teamwork spirit and skills, able to coordinate, collaborate and orchestrate between global and local teams.
• Excellent Stakeholder and Communication skills.
• Fluent English (both written and spoken).
