Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead internal communications and manage media relations to enhance ABB's brand in the country. Each day, you will handle business media interactions and crisis situations to protect ABB's reputation. You will also showcase your expertise by driving positive branding initiatives and fostering relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders to strengthen ABB’s visibility. The work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: • Developing and implementing a comprehensive communication plan that supports ABB’s business strategy and enhances brand visibility through various media channels. • Managing media relations and crisis communications to effectively address inquiries and navigate challenging situations, protecting ABB's reputation in the market. • Leading internal communications efforts to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, fostering employee engagement, and managing compliance with GDPR and governance standards. • Supporting local business as needed to engage with government and public affair organizations that contributes to the business strategies in the country. • Safeguarding ABB's brand identity by ensuring all communications adhere to corporate design standards and managing the communications budget for transparency and effectiveness. • Managing and governing country’s internal and external communication channels, social medias and
Qualifications for the role
- Undergraduate degree in Communications, PR or another related discipline.
- You are highly skilled in internal and external communications, PR, employee engagement and event management with a minimum of 10 years of practical experience.
- Ability to demonstrate your knowledge and experience in copywriting and editing, video editing and driving social media engagement on employer branding initiatives
- Possess extensive network within press and media in the country.
- You are immersed in the impact of communications in the organizational branding and ability to advise and present to senior leadership team.
- Excellent communications and business partnering skills.
- You hold work rights in Singapore.
