Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical, order, and payment-related assistance/support to the internal and external customers. Each day, you will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain complete case ownership. You will also showcase your expertise by improving customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: #LI - Onsite This role contributes to process automation in the Measurement & Analytics division within the Instrumentation business. You will be mainly accountable for: • Verifying sales orders in SAP against customer Purchase Orders, ensuring accuracy in material codes, range, and tag details, and reporting discrepancies to the Project Manager within one day of order allocation. • Preparing and submitting technical documentation, including instrument datasheets, general arrangement drawings, and bill of materials, within seven days of order allocation for customer approval. • Coordinating with the Order Loading team for sales order amendments based on approved documents within one day of receiving customer approvals. • Processing PR for new approved orders and data sheet-approved orders to plan for revenue. • Preparing an instrument list for customer inspection, including internal test reports, for onward submission to the customer along with the inspection call. • Updating and managing dispatch instructions in SAP, ensuring the timely generation and handover of delivery notes to the logistics function. • Communicating dispatch details to customers via email on the next working day after dispatch. • Managing service entries for vendor service bills and issuing Service PRs as required.
Qualifications for the role
- Full time Diploma / B.E in Electronics, Instrumentation, or a related field.
- Overall 2 to 5 year’s experience Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with SAP-SD module, including order processing, datasheet and GAD preparation for field instruments.
- Strong knowledge of field instrument configuration and technical support.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with internal teams and customers.
- Proficiency in handling various instrumentation-related software and tools.
- Familiarity with MS Office applications (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) is an added advantage.
- Ability to understand product specifications and align them with existing and upcoming orders.
