Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sale of products/systems/services within a designated segment, in line with the industry segment strategy. Each day, you will meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenue, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your ability by identifying and developing new sales opportunities within the assigned segment. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Motion business Serbia - Motors, Drives, Automation / Process and Utilities Industry segment. You will be mainly accountable for: • Selling products, systems, and services to customers, focusing on volume, mix, and profitability targets for the assigned segments: Metals Industry, Cement Industry, Mining and Minerals, Water and Waste Water, and Power Plants. • Providing technical support to customers, channel partners, and Sales engineers on ABB products, systems, and applications. Responsibilities include preparing product and system presentations, recommending optimal technical solutions, and contributing to business meetings and negotiations by providing technical insights and feedback on enquiry specifications. • Managing projects with responsibility for efficient management during the bidding phase and within defined requirements (e.g., budget, time, functionality). • Performing technical risk management and conducting analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solutions to meet customer needs. • Building and maintaining relationships with key customers You will join a motivated team with great willingness for growth, where you will be able to thrive.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with an Automation background.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in project sales or project concept design/electrical design/equipment selection.
- Experience in automation applications, motors and industrial drives, or process instrumentation would be considered as advantage
- Project management knowledge would be considered an advantage.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or EPLAN, as well as SAP is beneficial.
- You are driven by a proactive mindset, with a collaborative, solution-oriented approach and proficient customer relationship building abilities
- You are proficient in speaking in Serbian and English.
- You hold current driving license valid in Serbia to be able to travel to domestic and/or international sites occasionally.
