Your role and responsibilities

At the forefront is our Corporate Technology Center which provides industry leading software and deep domain expertise to help the world’s most asset-intensive industries solve their biggest challenges. To strengthen our ABB Ability™ Manufacturing Operations Management team, we are looking for a Senior QE Engineer who is an effective team player with excellent communication skills. The Manufacturing Operations Management portfolio encompasses capabilities in process intelligence and manufacturing execution, aiding various plant stakeholders in effective decision-making and reliable lean production execution through fully integrated operations. You will be working in cross-functional team which operates in an international environment. Being part of this team means also being a part of the huge stream which operates using Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). The work model for the role is: hybrid #LI-hybrid You will be mainly accountable for: •Monitoring and enforcing quality assurance processes and procedures •Collaborating with development teams & project managers •Continuously evaluating and improving QA processes and methodologies •Designing, creating and automating functional, performance and integration tests •Preparing test execution strategy in line with project timeline and organization goals •Mentoring and training team members on the best practices in testing and QA methodologies

Qualifications for the role

• 5+ years of professional experience in test automation at component, integration and system levels plus University degree in Computer Science or similar field
• Programming fundamentals and ability to program in at least one programming language preferably C# and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Experience with testing frameworks preferably Playwright, Selenium, Specflow, FluentAssertion
• Experience in performance testing
• Excellent understanding of SOLID principles, design patterns, architectural patterns, design tools, data structures
• Practical skills in using Docker or other containerization technologies
• Fluency in English
• Experience in using Git
