Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for project execution (Transitions, M&As coordination, process standardizations and other project initiatives cascaded by the Global PMO Lead), coordination of FAO Change Request Process, implementation of project Change & Communications and support for FAO in other areas of PMO capabilities (workshop and meeting facilitation, training deployment or toolkit development) The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite,#LI-hybrid This role is contributing to the Finance business based out in Bangalore-Hebbal. You will be accountable for: • Managing assigned projects within the FAO pipeline, ensuring the completion of all tasks and milestones within the agreed timeline and budget. • Designing and adhering to the project methodology, effectively allocating resources and tasks, motivating and managing direct and indirect stakeholders, and monitoring progress along with providing updates on project status are provided to the Global PMO Lead and Senior Leadership. • Developing, implementing, and helping continuously improve the project documentation: RAID logs, project toolkit, reporting decks and lessons learned. Manages project risk and proposes respective mitigations • Managing effective project governance by defining key stakeholders and meeting cadence, motivating and monitoring direct and indirect project resources, designing and implementing project change management, and communicating relevant information to stakeholders in a timely manner to ensure understanding and support collaborates closely with all FAO Streams (P2P/O2C/R2R/MD), members of GPO, Retained Finance and Business Organizations, as well as other ABB functions (es. IS or HR) if required. • Acting as a coach and trusted advisor for other Project Manager and Associate Project Managers
Qualifications for the role
- Comprehensive knowledge of FAO organization is a must due to ongoing transformation projects and complex Stakeholder management
- Minimum 3 years of experience in finance operations (P2P/O2C/R2R) Or at least 1 year experience in project management where FAO was one of the Stakeholders with overall 8-10 years’ experience.
- Adequate skills in analysis and problem resolution, as well as familiarity with MS Office and presentation techniques are required, professional certification (PMP/PRINCE2/Agile) is preferred
- Degree in Mcom/MBA-finance/Bcom with proper documentation and percentage
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is essential
