Your role and responsibilities

This role is contributing to the Electrification business area. ABB is a global technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future. You will complete the rotational program with Smart Buildings Business Line China and Marketing & Sales organization of Smart Power and Smart Buildings China of ABB's Electrification Business Divisions. As a global technology leader in electrical distribution and management, we bring electrification solutions together to accelerate decarbonization and increase energy efficiency. We collaborate with our customers and partners to solve today’s greatest challenges, turning our passion for a net zero future into progress. You will participate in an orientation with all other Discovery Program participants. This 12-month rotation program is designed for early talent training, personal and professional growth, and networking. It contents different rotations focused on developing inside product & quality, sales & marketing, leaderships skills and ABB product knowledge. A program manager will be there to support you throughout your journey. Project Introduction: • Experience three job rotations within 12 months and deeply immerse yourself in the workplace environment of ABB's Electrical Business Division. • Discover your interests and different functions/roles through challenging and impactful tasks and fully integrate into the team while undertaking these tasks. • Accelerate your growth with comprehensive support from training and development programs, technical training, mentors, and the ABB Discovery Program team. • Actively participate in various social and team activities, and seize this opportunity to build an extensive network within ABB. • Develop your own strengths through regular performance feedback and clear performance goals. In the 3 rotations period, you will have chances to work in the various function including: • Work in Marketing & Sales Function to work on the new product launch and analysis, introduce our product to customers, serve our customers and follow up sales opportunities and orders. • Work in Business Development Department to focus on product marketing plan and product business development. • Work in Operations Functions to get to be familiar with the product, operation and business process.
Qualifications for the role
- Maximum 3 years of professional work experience
- Master's degree or above, major in engineering such as electrical or mechanical engineering.
- Motivation to acquire new skills and knowledge
- Entrepreneurship and innovative, can think out of box
- Strong ownership
- Strong analytical skill and system thinking, strong interpersonal skill
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English
- Strong team player
- Have flexibility to travel or take on short assignments in different cities within the domain of China.
