Your role and responsibilities
We're looking for a strategic Global Product Manager for our PA Sales Configurator platform - an essential tool used by thousands of users globally to configure and price ABB’s automation and digital solutions. This role is a rare opportunity to shape a global platform that enhances sales efficiency, collaboration, and intelligence across multiple business units. Location for the role is purely global - we accept applications worldwide Main Responsibilities • As the owner of the PA Sales Configurator platform, you’ll define and execute the product strategy, ensuring alignment with executive leadership and delivering a scalable, intuitive, and integrated tool that empowers internal and external users worldwide. • You’ll manage the full development lifecycle - from roadmap planning to agile sprint execution - working closely with technology suppliers and internal engineering teams to prioritize high-value features while maintaining application integrity. • You’ll lead a cross-functional team of 20+ professionals, including engineers, system integrators, pricing specialists, and product modelers, collaborating across functions and regions. • You will oversee release management, security compliance, budgeting, and vendor relationships, ensuring quality and innovation lead to user satisfaction. • You will be accountable for stakeholder communication and expectation management, balancing long-term vision with quick wins in platform evolution. • User training and onboarding are key - your leadership will ensure best-in-class support, documentation, and education programs that accelerate adoption and maximize value.
Qualifications for the role
- Extensive experience in global product or project management roles in CPQ or sales enablement platforms
- ABB automation background is considered vital in the role as well as experience with ABB Wizard tool
- Extensive experience in leading cross-functional and remote development teams
- Being familiar with Bidding and Ordering processes
- Familiarity with enterprise-level system integration and product modeling
- Knowledge of data privacy, IS security compliance, and user support best practices
- Proficient communication and stakeholder management skills
- Technical background or understanding of digital/automation solutions
