Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to develop the Energy market by executing sales strategy aiming to meet the sales target and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. You will create, and complete winning bids, estimations or quotations based on customer specification, customer requirements or budget to meet market competitiveness and high margin of the Energy Industries’ sales strategy to accomplish both qualitative and quantitative targets for the business line Excitation in a profitable way. The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Energy Industries division in Switzerland. You will be mainly accountable for: • Customer Engagement: Build and maintain solid customer relationships, ensuring a positive experience and providing technical support during sales interactions. • Sales Execution: Enhance sales through strategic initiatives, value-based selling, target setting, and engaged participation in contract negotiations. • Bid Management: Manage the preparation of competitive bids and proposals, addressing technical, financial, and project aspects while identifying risks and ensuring accurate documentation. • Process & Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, efficient use of tools, accurate forecasting, and support for administrative and reporting processes.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor/master’s Electrical Engineering
- More than 8 years of experience in related field e.g., In Bids & Proposals/Engineering in power generation/industry projects or service
- Previous experience in the field of Excitation- / power electronics systems / protection or synchronous generators will be a benefit
- Experience in system modelling or simulation will be an advantage
- Experience in developing strong customer and internal relationships locally and globally as well as enjoy working in a wide variety of cultures and in many different sectors
- Fluent in English, German or French language beneficial
- Willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide—travel commitment up to 15%.
