Engineering Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create, modify, and analyze the design of equipment, systems, or installations, including specifications for manufacturing, fabrication, or construction. Each day, you will optimize designs to meet updated standards and incorporate new products, components, and functionalities. You will also showcase your expertise by applying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects. The work model for the role is: onsite This role is contributing to the {insert product group/business area/division/function} in {insert region}. Main stakeholders are {insert main stakeholder groups if available}. You will be mainly accountable for: •Reporting any integrity, compliance, safety, cybersecurity, quality, contract, program, and cost issues to the management and/or project manager(s) for resolution. •Ensuring that engineering activities and deliverables comply with required safety and cybersecurity regulations and standards and contractual requirements. •Ensuring the Bill of Materials (BOM) for the project meets contractual obligations. •Identifying and implementing change / variation requests based on the approval from project manager. •Ensuring the project meets the technical requirements and is technically completed as part of contract closure activities.

Qualifications for the role

• Associate's Degree in a related discipline plus 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Or 8 years or more years of directly related industry experience.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
