Your role and responsibilities

Shape the future of chemical processing and power engineering with ABB! Develop innovative processes and set new standards in the automated surface treatment of components and the post-treatment of process materials. Take on responsibility from planning to commissioning and benefit from exciting projects in a dynamic environment. Become part of our team and actively drive the energy revolution forward! • New planning of an automated surface treatment system for vacuum inter-rupter components including post-treatment • Analysis of the current status of existing processes and systems in the area of surface treatment • Development and implementation of optimized, validated cleaning methods and agents • Technological support for the specialist area, evaluation of rationalization potential and identification of innovative solutions • Creation of specifications for new systems and selection of suitable supp-liers Implementation of projects and commissioning of systems • Identification, development and implementation of environmental protec-tion projects

Qualifications for the role

  • Completed training as a chemical technician or degree in chemical engineering, process engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Sound knowledge in the fields of organic and inorganic chemistry, analytical chemistry and thermodynamics
  • Experience in technical electrochemistry, reaction engineering and chemicals legislation
  • Knowledge of plant engineering, chemical apparatus engineering and coating technology
  • Experience in mechanical process engineering as well as safety and environmental technology
  • Practical experience in the planning, implementation and commissioning of plants in a comparable environment is an advantage
