Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you are in a key position for the sales team in the PG 3199/BL IAMA/Department IAIW in Austria/ Wiener Neudorf. In this position, you are responsible for supporting our field sales team with the technical design of instrumentation devices for the process industry (temperature, pressure, flow, and level). Your convincing technical and market knowledge will help you provide efficient and effective solutions to the customer. Your main responsibilities include: • Supporting your sales colleagues in determining the optimal and most cost-effective solutions to meet customer needs. • Preparing technical and commercial offers in SAP and clearly and understandably communicating contract terms. • Following up on the created offers. • Additionally, you will assist our customers with technical inquiries. • You will implement ABB’s core values of safety and integrity by taking responsibility for your actions while keeping the interests of your colleagues and the company in mind.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have completed a technical education (electrical engineering, ideally with a focus on measurement and control technology).
  • At least 2-3 years of professional experience, preferably in the field of industrial instrumentation.
  • You are fluent in German and have good English skills, possess good MS Office knowledge, and have ideally worked with SAP.
  • You have very good self-motivation, curiosity about new things, and the desire to acquire new technologies.
  • Additionally, you consider yourself a flexible team player.
