Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical, order, and payment-related assistance/support to the internal and external customers. Each day, you will coordinate with relevant stakeholders to obtain complete case ownership. You will also showcase your expertise by improving customer satisfaction. The work model for the role is: On-site, Hybrid within the guideline of a maximum of 2 days/week, fixed-term until 31.12.2026 You will be mainly accountable for: • You will be responsible for the commercial processing of product and project business, starting with the creation of order confirmations, ensuring smooth delivery tracking in cooperation with our plants and partner suppliers, up to accurate invoicing. This role requires close collaboration with the Sales, Sales Support, Service, and Product Management departments, as well as other ABB Business Areas or Divisions and relevant corporate departments. • You will serve as the interface for dunning processes and ensure that all incoming payments are properly recorded. Additionally, you will verify and allocate relevant documents in the SAP system or Order Management System, ensuring error-free transaction processing. • You will maintain regular direct contact with customers, both in person, by phone, and through electronic media. You will be the point of contact for inquiries related to orders, deliveries, and invoices, contributing to overall customer satisfaction. • As part of an engaged team, you will act independently and actively contribute with a keen understanding of business processes and colleagues. Your work will always align with ABB's core values, particularly regarding safety and integrity.
Qualifications for the role
- Completed commercial/business education (e.g., HAK, HASCH) or a comparable qualification.
- Ideally, experience in commercial administration.
- Excellent MS Office skills, ideally with experience in SAP.
- Fluent in German and good English skills, both written and spoken (minimum B2 level).
- Customer-oriented and cost-conscious thinking.
- High level of initiative and teamwork ability.
- Independent and structured work approach.
- Reliability and strong communication skills.
