Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you are an expert in planning and designing energy distribution systems for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, and residential construction. You create competitive project proposals and process incoming customer orders for production. Additionally, you serve as the direct point of contact for our customers in switchgear construction, providing guidance on all product-related questions and their applications. This position requires your attention to detail and ability to communicate effectively with various business partners to ensure a successful project completion. • Timely and accurate preparation of complex project designs and proposals according to technical specifications • Managing all steps of the proposal phase, including follow-ups and price negotiations with customers • Reviewing and ensuring that proposals and orders meet customer requirements • Processing and coordinating incoming orders of configured switchgear systems with production • Advising customers on electrical standards, VDE regulations, and the applications of electrical equipment • Building and strengthening positive customer relationships to enhance system partnerships and expand business development • Providing market insights and customer needs to product management and marketing for product improvements

Qualifications for the role

  • Completed vocational training in electrical engineering, ideally with further qualification as a master craftsman or technician
  • At least 4-5 years of professional experience in switchgear construction or an electrical engineering field
  • Experience and knowledge in configuration and planning software such as StriePlan, EPlan, e-configure, Simaris
  • Good proficiency in Office 365 and ideally SAP
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and workflows simultaneously while meeting deadlines
  • Cooperative and solution-oriented working style with strong communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • Fluent in German, both spoken and written
  • Advanced basic knowledge of English for confident communication in both written and spoken form
