As a global market leader, we’ll give you what you need to make it happen. It won’t always be easy, growing takes grit. But at ABB, you’ll never run alone. Run what runs the world.
This Position reports to:
Service Sales Manager
Your Role and Responsibilities
We are currently looking for a new talented colleague who can contribute to ABB’s continued development of future solutions and help us remain at the forefront of innovation in the energy revolution. As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a new skilled colleague to support "ABB Electrification" in promoting future service concepts and electrical solutions in the Danish market. You will help spread knowledge about ABB’s services and service concepts tailored to power supply for critical infrastructure, large-scale industry, and the utility sector – including sustainable solutions for life extension, expansions, ongoing maintenance, and service contracts covering their electrical infrastructure in a broad sense.
If you have an electrical engineering background combined with solid industry experience and are looking for an exciting job with great responsibility and extensive support, now is the time to apply.
You will work across tendering and project execution, helping deliver turnkey solutions of high quality – at the agreed price, with a strong focus on safety, and meeting customer needs. Your area of responsibility will be to ensure ABB’s visibility with end users through service concepts, upgrades, and technical/digital solutions within low-voltage breakers/panels and medium-voltage systems. All of this will be done in collaboration with skilled colleagues in sales, tendering, and execution – both locally and through our global factories.
You will be responsible for supporting selected customers with relationship building, technical advice, and quotations. You will be the customer’s point of contact from the initial phase to the final offer, after which a coordinator or project manager will take over. The position will also include elements of business development within selected market segments and associated service concepts.
- Participate in pre-engineering and customer meetings with a focus on precise needs assessment.
- Develop technical solution proposals in close dialogue with customers and colleagues.
- Calculate and prepare offers with a focus on both customer satisfaction and profitability.
- Ensure ongoing and effective dialogue with customers, colleagues, and subcontractors.
- Contribute purposefully to growth within electrical infrastructure.
- Collect market data and plan a structured sales approach.
- Participate in trade fairs and present at customer events.
- Maintain and expand the project list with an engaged and goal-oriented approach.
Qualifications for the Role
- An electrical engineering education, e.g., as an industrial electrician, automation technician, power engineer, electrical installer, marine engineer, or similar.
- Understanding of the entire sales process and the ability to understand customer needs and argue for investment in new equipment.
- Ability to analyze technical issues and advise customers on the optimal solution.
- You take initiative, work independently, and take responsibility for your areas.
- Experience with tendering.
- Willingness to learn and develop – many years of experience are not required, as long as you have good industry knowledge and experience with electrical equipment.
- Knowledge of utility technology, power panels, circuit breakers, and medium-voltage systems is an advantage but not a requirement.
