Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to assist local unit in developing the necessary capabilities to effectively control products and systems. Each day, you will ensure compliance with internal, customer, and industry requirements within a cost-effective and safe working environment. You will also showcase your expertise by participating in the development and implementation of standards and test methods to ensure only compliant products, software, and services are released to the customer.

This role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Power Division,
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Conducts and supports testing (including FAT) to ensure product, system, and software quality per ABB and customer standards.
- Reports and escalates quality issues, assisting with supplier and production quality while supporting engineering in test protocol development.
- Promotes quality and safety culture, performing inspections, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions to resolve issues effectively.
- Provides feedback to R&D for product/process improvement, using field learnings to enhance test design and efficiency.
- Demonstrates ABB’s core values and group safety and integrity standards and acts accordingly.
- Implements and ensures compliance with the ABB code of conduct, global and local standards, tools, policies, and processes in their assigned area.
- Ensures adherence to all relevant internal and statutory regulations and policies.
- Ensures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities.
- Demonstrates an understanding of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) terms, concept application, reporting, and risks.
