This Position reports to:

ABB’s Process Automation business area enables customers to operate some of the world’s largest and most complex industrial infrastructures, helping them outrun – leaner and cleaner. We offer a broad range of automation, electrification and digital solutions for process, hybrid and maritime industries, including industry-specific integrated control and software as well as measurement and analytics solutions and services."

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, maintain, and continuously improve the Snowflake platform and its integration with other platforms: Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft Azure, and AI/ML solutions, ensuring effective execution of incidents, problem, change, and release management processes in alignment with customer needs and the IS operating model.
• Design and implement roadmaps, delivery plans, and delivery processes—including defining project scope, milestones, and timelines.
• Promote Snowflake platform adoption across the organization by evangelizing its capabilities, showcasing new features and innovations, and identifying opportunities for value-added use cases.
• Be responsible for managing the platform budget and financial forecasts, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimizing cost efficiency across all services and initiatives.
• Oversee service delivery from internal teams and third-party vendors, monitor performance against agreed SLAs, and coordinate consultant activities across ongoing projects.
• Serve as People Manager for assigned team members. Manage project teams by assigning tasks, tracking progress, and ensuring successful project execution.
• Ensure all assigned applications comply with security, regulatory, and compliance requirements, including adherence to ABB processes such as InfoSec and ITGC.
• Prepare and lead OpCo and SteCo meetings with senior management and C-level stakeholders to ensure alignment on strategy, performance, risks, and key initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems)
• 4 years of experience in Snowflake and Azure
• 10 years of experience in Data Modeling, Data Warehouses, ETL/ELT, People Management, ITIL
• Knowledge in Data warehouse architecture, ETL/ELT tools, business requirements gathering, and consulting, Software development methodologies (e.g., SAFE/ Agile / DevOps), ITIL methodologies and strong programming languages, particularly SQL, Python
• Fluent spoken and written English (Min. C1 Level)
• A mindset to innovate, take ownership, and drive continuous improvement
