This Position reports to:
Production Manager
Key responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a team during the permanent night shift in the production of miniature circuit breakers (MCBs), ensuring an efficient and continuous production process in compliance with process workflows, work instructions, production plans, and quality and safety standards.
As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will report to the Production Manager and contribute to the assembly of ABB products from spare part components. You will be responsible for workforce planning, taking into account scheduling and cost structures to achieve production targets.

Your main responsibilities:
- Leading a production area in MCB manufacturing and managing approximately 40 employees
- Conducting capacity planning and resource optimization
- Identifying potential improvements in production processes and equipment
- Leading continuous improvement (CIP) projects and workshops
- Ensuring smooth production operations through leadership, organization, and recruitment in collaboration with the HR department
- Guiding and motivating team members and fostering their development
Qualifications for the role:
- Certified master craftsman, technician, or equivalent technical qualification
- Several years of experience in production or production-related areas
- Proven experience in leading production teams
- Excellent knowledge of manufacturing processes and highly automated production lines
- Demonstrated experience with CIP projects and Lean Management (e.g., KAIZEN, Lean Six Sigma)
- Solid knowledge of occupational health and safety, as well as quality standards and requirements (ISO 9000–9004)
- Quick comprehension and resilience combined with strong team skills
- Fluent in German (spoken and written), good command of English
- Willingness to work permanent night shifts, including Saturdays
- High level of empathy and assertiveness
