Your role and responsibilities

As part of our continued growth and commitment to operational excellence, we are seeking a strategic leader to step into the role of Division CIO for the IEC Low Voltage Motors Division (MOIM). Reporting to the Division Head of Operations and functionally to the Motion Business Area CIO, this role is pivotal in shaping and executing the digital and information strategy across the Division. As Division CIO, you co-lead the digital transformation of MOIM’s global functions and regions, embedding digitalization as a core enabler of the division’s business strategy. You are accountable for shaping and executing the division’s information management and technology agenda, ensuring alignment with strategic priorities and operational excellence. You also provide executive leadership to business process, data, and application owners, as well as to digital, IT, and information management professionals. You oversee the governance and optimization of technology investments and operations, ensuring they deliver measurable business value. Through close collaboration with global and regional business leaders, you drive innovation in the use of technology to accelerate growth, enhance efficiency, and strengthen MOIM’s competitive edge. With this role, the key responsibilities are the following: Strategic planning & execution: • Co-lead the development of an embedded digitalization strategy for business functions & regions. • Co-own the change management for the adoption of and use of information technology • Develop & implement an information management & technology strategy. • Lead, mentor, coach program / project managers / stakeholders in digital transformation. • Follow emerging technologies and trends and introduce these to support business innovation. Leadership and People/Team Management: • Lead, mentor, and manage direct and indirect people in information management • Foster a culture of end-to-end processes excellence and building a scalable IT architecture • Manage resource planning and competence development to maximize business outcomes Information management, Information Technology and Infrastructure: • Develop, implement and lead the operating model for information management • Oversee planning, design, implementation, and operations of IT incl. hardware, software, networks. • Ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of information systems. Cybersecurity: • Implement and ensure compliance with corporate cybersecurity policies and procedures to protect business data and systems. • Follow cyber threats and ensure proactive measures are in place and keep business informed. Vendor Management: • Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure cost-effective and high quality IT solutions. • Negotiate contracts and monitor vendor performance. Budget, Cost Management & Value realization: • Plan and monitor investments in software assets, capital and operational expenses in projects • Develop and manage the operations budget for information management & information technology • Develop and implement a framework to follow up on value realization from investments in IT Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery: • Manage the business risk assessment to determine continuity objectives and risk acceptance • Oversee the business continuity and disaster recovery planning for information systems Compliance and Governance: • Ensure compliant use of information systems with relevant laws & global/local regulations • Implement and enforce corporate and business area IT policies and procedure

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or other Master's degree
  • Business management experience across various business functions
  • Extensive experience in information management and technology leadership roles with a proven
  • track record of success.
  • Strong understanding of business strategy, business operating models and business operation
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies.
  • Experienced leader with excellent collaboration, and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
  • Strong problem-solving, innovative thinking, improvisation and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices and regulations.
