HR Operations Team Lead
Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will be a core member of the HR Operational Services Team, based in Baden. You will be responsible for delivering HR Service support to the HR community, business managers, and employees. Being part of a motivated and dedicated team of HR Services & Payroll Specialists, you will support in different topics in the area of Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, as well as Time & Absence.

You will be mainly accountable for:
Delivering HR services and payroll support to HR, line managers, and employees, ensuring clear communication of policies related to Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, and Time & Absence.
Processing HR inquiries, preparing reports for external authorities, and ensuring data quality and accuracy in all systems and databases.
Contributing to annual processes such as tax statements, salary, and bonus rounds while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.
Ensuring adherence to risk and control standards, identifying opportunities for process improvements, and living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity.
Qualifications for the role:
You hold a commercial degree with additional education in HR or Payroll being a plus.
You bring initial work experience in a similar role within Payroll or HR Operations and possess knowledge of Swiss tax and social security laws, including AHV, IV, EO, BVG, and UVG.
You are a customer-oriented, reliable, and accurate professional with strong analytical skills and a natural affinity for numbers.
Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams, OneNote) is required, and experience with Workday and/or SAP HCM is highly desirable.
Fluency in German and English is essential; French and/or Italian language skills are considered an additional asset.
You hold a current work permit valid in Switzerland (EU/EFTA)
