Your role and responsibilities
As Product Line Manager of Advisory Services you will lead the creation and drive the implementation of the advisory service offering to align and support the growth strategy of ABB Electrification’s Service division by advising our customers in becoming safer, more reliable, and sustainable. You will define, build, and manage the advisory services Product Management organization based on the strategic objective to incubate and scale the new business leveraging the complete ELSE portfolio. Position Grade: 9 The main focus of the Product Line Manager will be to create and drive implementation of an offering (product/solution/service) strategy to align and support the relevant business strategy. The main responsabilities will be the following : •Develop, productize and standardize new advisory services to support customers in their journey to improve reliability and safety of their electrical network •Monitor the offering portfolio to ensure that a healthy mix and vitality are maintained •Identify organic and inorganic growth opportunities, and drive innovation with a strong customer value focus. •Provide unprecedent services to our customers, while defining a global go-to-market strategy and align with the operational/execution path in cooperation with ELSE Regions. •Drive and implement the global advisory services commercialization strategy and commercial deployment of the organization in coopeartion with ELSE M&S to ensure the integrated commercial success of the organization driving business growth and market share •Enable the organization to achieve its short, mid, and long-term performance and growth objectives. •Drive excellence in the advisory service teams by promoting continuous development of people and processes, and by championing ABB core values and principles.
Qualifications for the role
- 15+ years of experience in leading and managing global functions including Marketing, Sales, Account Management and Product Management.
- Experience of leading Strategy and Business Development projects at re-gion/global level would be preferred.
- Thorough understanding of ABB Electrification business and customer needs.
- Proven personal leadership in building and leading large teams, shaping collabo-rative, diverse and inclusive organizational culture with high strategic and results orientation.
- Passion for tackling complex and unstructured problems, high level of curiosity, and initiating engagement with others
- Global mind-set, intercultural sensitivity, and excellent communication skills.
- Experience in M&A is a strong asset
- Fluency in English is essential (written and spoken).
