Key responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced and motivated leader to drive the growth of our partner network and product portfolio in the field of gas-insulated switchgear. In this role, you will lead a high-performing team, develop and implement strategic partner and go-to-market initiatives, and ensure the successful delivery of projects. If you possess strong technical expertise and a proven track record in sales and project management, we invite you to contribute to our continued success.
This role is contributing to local Medium Voltage Switchgear business line within Distribution Solutions division.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of Product Market Managers and Technical Project Managers to drive ambitious growth targets
- Define, plan, and implement partner strategies and go-to-market product marketing initiatives, including product positioning and value proposition communication
- Identify white spots in the partner channel and develop targeted strategies in close coordination with global management and local units
- Ensure all partners meet ABB qualification standards
- Monitor progress toward defined targets and initiate improvement actions as needed
- Ensure timely and high-quality project delivery to partners, driving optimal customer satisfaction
- Present the product portfolio to partners and identify application areas and sales opportunities
- Actively support partner projects through to contract award, including participation in commercial and technical negotiations (as agreed), and revise offers when necessary
You will join a highly motivated team of 6 people, where you will be able to shape future to accelerate the profitable growth journey.
Qualifications for the role
- Self-motivated and goal-oriented with a strong drive for results
- Proven experience in the sales of technical systems
- Successfully completed degree in a technical discipline (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering)
- Several years of relevant professional experience in project-driven environments
- Business fluent in German and English with excellent communication skills for interacting with internal and external partners
- Sound understanding of the value creation process in the manufacturing of gas-insulated switchgear
- Comprehensive technical knowledge and product expertise to effectively support engineering and manufacturing processes
