This Position reports to:

Team Leader


Now we are looking for a Specialist to join our order handling team. You will provide support to sales representatives, respond to customer enquiries, and perform complete order handling processes. We expect you to perform well in an international team environment and have exceptional people and communication skills in English.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Process Automation in Ostrava.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Booking project orders (Customer is sending a Purchase order)

  • Create project and sales order in SAP

  • Release project after approvals

  • Send order confirmation/contract to customer when conditions are met

  • Spareparts & Licenses Orders – an Inquiry from Customer is received via Salesforce Cases

  • Create offer in SAP and send as PDF via Case to customer (Ensures that offers meet the company's budget and profitability targets)

  • If Customer sends Purchase order – you create a Sales order in SAP

  • Be responsible for ABB internal purchasing and 3rd party purchasing Procurement

  • Send SAP order confirmation to customer

  • Handle supplier invoice

  • Invoicing of delivered orders

  • Closing the Sales orders in SAP / setting TECO (technically completed)

  • Returns/complaints and credit notes

Qualifications for the role

  • SAP knowledge

  • Fluent in English language, written and spoken

  • Capability to achieve business results and work under pressure

  • Computing skills MS Office

  • Experience working in a sales or purchasing

Personal skills

  • Excellent social, communication and writing skills

  • Customer and result oriented

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Good organizational skills

  • Ability to multitask

  • Ability to read in technical documentation
