This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to create and complete bids, estimations, and quotations based on customer specifications, requirements, or budget to achieve market competitiveness and high margins for the company. Each day, you will maintain and improve the balance between all ABB units and customers in your area of responsibility. You will also showcase your skills in information management by collecting and collating the information required to prepare proposals, including both technical and cost elements.

This role is contributing to the Motion business Service division in Bangalore-India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Managing the preparation of the offer including all technical documentation, prices, and trading conditions.

• Performing analytic and diagnostic studies to determine the most suitable technical solution to meet workshop needs

• In accordance with bid/estimate/quotation planning, ensuring that inputs for editing activities are provided on time and according to established quality procedures. Managing external services to support bid/estimation preparation.

• Identifying potential risks in the bids, quotations, and estimates, and in any related contract agreements across customers/channels. Responsible for collecting and collecting all information needed to prepare the proposal, including both technical and cost elements.

• Changes in delivery, invoice plan, variation in Project orders to be updated in SAP

• Invoicing for Projects, Stock reconciliation, processing on outbound errors

• Defines, jointly with the project team, project work breakdown structure

Qualifications for the role :

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical / mechanical / instrumentation / electronics engineering

• Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in the electrical industry

• Working knowledge on quotation, quote to customers and technical/ commercial quotes exposure

• Good experience in SAP MM, CQP application

• Good knowledge connected to HV & LV Drives is a valuable addition

• Ability to work effectively both with a well-organized approach and as part of a team.

• Effective English Communication is required and Ability to equip and handle different ERP’s

• Salesforce knowledge is an added advantage
