This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities:

You will be responsible for sales of electrification, low voltage, and control products in the automation and machine manufacturing segment for the Swiss OEM market, ensuring growth in sales volumes and margins. Reporting to the Head of Sales OEM Electrification, you will leverage your expertise to build lasting customer relationships through outstanding service.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Drive sales by managing existing accounts, acquiring new customers, and collaborating with marketing, technical support, and sales teams to develop sales plans and identify market opportunities.

  • Leverage your knowledge of customers’ applications and ABB solutions to address needs, focusing on digitalization, Industry 4.0, and energy efficiency, ensuring technical and financial accuracy.

  • Partner closely with ABB distribution channels to enhance customer journey and maintain precise customer data within the CRM system (Salesforce).

  • Continuously expand your technical expertise, monitor market trends, and apply diverse sales techniques such as value-based selling to maximize business success.


Qualifications for the role:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in technical sales

  • Strong technical expertise in low voltage products, with a solid understanding of the Swiss industry and automation.

  • Proficiency in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems; experience with order development tools (ERP) is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships, paired with a collaborative, solution-oriented mindset.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in German and English; French is an advantage.

  • Technical qualification, preferably a bachelor's degree in Automation, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.

  • Valid Swiss driver’s license and work authorization in Switzerland.
