Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and maintain a highly effective sales channel strategy for a specified market (global/regional) to improve ABB’s market penetration and achieve its growth aspirations. Each day, you will plan and ensure the execution of the business area/division sales strategy to achieve both qualitative and quantitative targets for the assigned channel in a profitable way with a focus on orders, revenues, growth, margin, market share, sales productivity, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your expertise by leading, developing, and coaching the related Channel Sales organization. The work model for the role is: hybrid This role is contributing to the ELSP in Hangzhou or Ningbo. You will be mainly accountable for: 1. Sales strategy Plans and implements sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, especially for digital solutions. Achieves sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency. 2. Sales target Establishes sales targets and ensures sales achievement through regular oversight and definition and implementation of improvement plans as needed 3. Customer relations Lead the team to establish and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full product/systems/ services offering, and align to provide a solution, especially for digital solution. Ensures a positive customer experience. 4. New market opportunities Lead the team to identify and drive the development of new market opportunities in the designated market. Identify digital sales opportunities and promote digital solutions to customers. 5. People leadership and development Ensures (with HR support) that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed, skilled and directed. Coaches, motivates and develops direct and indirect subordinates within policies. Drives and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor or master degree, Major in science or engineering (electrical automation major is preferred)
- At least 5 year’s sales experience in related industries; Strong sales competency with digital capability & knowhow; At least have experience and knowledge of digitalization (automation) project
- With the experience of team management
- Strong learning ability; Customer orientation; Strong sense of responsibility and personal integrity;
- Result driven; Strong interpersonal and communication skills, be good at team work.
