Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will be responsible for leading designing, engineering, testing and commissioning activities of Automation systems in oil & gas production / refining / petrochemical / Pharmaceutical industry. This opportunity is having two roles where you will be working as part of a global engineering team supporting 20+ countries in delivering Control Systems projects (Design, Engineering, testing, commissioning and consulting). The work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid This role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India. You will be mainly accountable for: Pharmaceutical Applications • Experienced in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of control systems for pharmaceutical processes, including bioreactors, purification systems, and packaging lines. • Experience with ISA 88 Batch Standards, Batch Design, Production Management / Scheduling and Batch Management programming. • Experience of executing Pharma projects as per V-model and GAMP standards. • Proficient in Control System hardware design, application programming and HMI graphics development. Functional Safety and Cyber Security • Working knowledge of the Safety Lifecycle and ability to complete safety assessments, typically non-team based, without supervision. • TUV Functional Safety Engineer Certification (or equivalent). ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist Certification (or equivalent). • Working knowledge of IEC61508, IEC61511 and ISA/IEC 62443. • Experienced in the selection, specification, configuration, testing and maintenance of control systems.

Qualifications for the role

• Full-time Degree in BE /B Tech (Instrumentation / Electronics / Electrical).
• Minimum 12 years of design, engineering, testing and commissioning experience.
• Experience in functional safety lifecycle and cyber security risk assessment delivery, system design, etc.
• Must have good communication & leadership capabilities.
• Must have strong team-building skills.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites.
