Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to be the local business leader for ABB Process Automation and Energy Industries in Egypt, with end-to-end responsibility for business activities including operations, portfolio, and commercial (sales & marketing). You will be accountable for profitable business growth, meeting short-term and long-term HUB growth and organization development targets.

This role is contributing to the PAEN in Egypt

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the local division team and ensures that employees work in a safe, healthy, performance-oriented, inclusive culture, based on ABB core values.

• Implementing the business strategy and ensures business development in the operating unit, with full responsibility for Profit and Loss (P&L).

• Ensuring profitable business growth through development of performance targets and ensures achievement through regular oversight and definition of improvement actions.

• Driving marketing and sales, builds long term relationships with customers and partners, and overseeing execution and delivery for best-in-class customer experience.

Qualifications for the role

• BSC, In Engineering degree with a minimum of 12 years leadership experience in energy industry.

• Excellent relationship building and strategic planning at executive and operational leadership level.

• Solid Sales, P&L Ownership and Business planning experience.

• Strong relationships and results focus on collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to develop and deliver solutions that meet customer requirements.

• Experience leading added-value team/division in a multi-cultural environment.

• Energy industry experience is required

• Strong entrepreneurial attitude, excellent communication skills, and senior executive presence.
