Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have responsibility for developing robust data infrastructure and dynamic dashboards focused on transportation and trade operations. The goal is to uncover cost-saving opportunities, enhance service quality, and improve delivery performance. A key aspect of the role involves building seamless data integrations between ABB systems and external partners to ensure high data accuracy and availability.

Strong communication skills are essential, as the analyst will regularly engage with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams. This includes consulting on KPI visualization strategies and providing data-driven insights that support impactful decision-making across the organization.


You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Maintain close coordination with business functions to ensure business analytics, KPIs, metrics and information flows align with their respective business strategy; Responsible for data availability, quality, maintenance, operational processes and uses within the respective business

  • Support setup of information flows and analytics during a TMS implementation across 28 sites; Lead the setup of information flows to and from selected freight audit provider

  • Manage and communicate the status of reporting and progress against project milestones

  • Partner with continuous improvement leaders to increase oversight and data management insights for transportation and trade spend, data flows, and dashboards for ABB Electrification North America

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelor degree in supply chain, business, finance, or related field

  • Minimum 8 years experience in Data Analytics, Supply Chain, Logistics, Global Trade, Finance, or related experience

  • Advanced in Microsoft Power Query and Power BI for building interactive dashboards and visualizing KPIs

  • Proficient in SQL and preferred Snowflake experience

  • Advanced knowledge in SAP SD, LE, MM, PP modules

  • Advanced knowledge of dataset management

  • TMS experience with platforms like SAP TM or similar

  • Proficient knowledge of data exchange between systems (EDI, API, and middleware)

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.

While base salary is determined by things such as the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience, this position is expected to pay between $98,700 and $157,920 annually and is eligible for a short-term incentive plan/annual bonus.
