This Position reports to:

Operations Manager - Southwest Die Cast

Your role and responsibilities:

The Maintenance Planner/Scheduler will assist maintenance in the procurement of necessary MRO supplies as well as maintain accurate inventory in stock room. The objective of this position is to reduce downtime through the effective procurement of MRO products. The position will also schedule work and orders for PM’s, routine maintenance, project work and other administrative duties.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Using the Baldor BUS System, issue purchase orders for all supplies used in the maintenance department and maintain vendor managed inventory for supplies in addition to auditing inventory levels through cycle counting.
• Prepare and maintain parts usage, check on shortages, enter items consumed for requisition slips, and prepare reports while monitoring order status, shipments and expediting items as necessary, reporting on daily shortages.
• Evaluate Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) work orders for labor and material requirements and maintain vendor managed inventories and cross-reference parts when needed from different suppliers.
• Schedule work orders for PM’s, routine maintenance, project work, input PM’s into system and develop bills of material and equipment histories in CMMS.
• Plan jobs through job site review, priority scheduling, part kitting and assist with tracking maintenance metrics.

Qualifications for the role:

• High School Diploma with minimum 4 years of experience (Bachelor’s Degree – Preferred)
• 2+ years in maintenance materials planning, scheduling, purchasing, SAP, Strong Microsoft Excel, Workday, BUS, Previous technical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
