Job Description

Job Title: Business Development Specialist

Job Profile Summary

We’re currently searching for a business development specialist who can support BD manager and multiple departments to drive measurable results that benefit our business in terms of external collaboration development with association, industrial stakeholders, licensor and universities, events management, competition analysis and offering management .

Core Responsibilities

  • Partnership Development & Management: Develop and manage collaborative relationships & activities with market partners, including ecosystem partners, industry associations, technical societies, platform companies, licenser, universities and market research firms to expand ABB PAEN's business exposure in a broader society in China and leads to effective market awareness improvement, and support business leader and sales leaders to properly develop business model with collaborators
  • Market Understanding: Provide in-depth analysis of PAEN market policies, trends, and movements to support business strategy and identify growth opportunities. Regularly share insights with the team to foster strategic decision-making.
  • Event management: Provide solid event management to ensure success, and effective leads generation
  • Competitor Analysis: Perform ongoing assessments of key competitors, analyzing their product offerings and business strategies to enhance our competitive positioning.
  • Product Offering Development: Collaborate with technical and sales teams to tailor our product offerings to meet customer and market demands effectively.

Qualification

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • 5+ years accumulated work experience in marketing event management, external collaboration engagement or business development , preferred with the background of chemical industry or energy related industry, etc.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and build strong partnerships.
  • Good team player and listener, open-minded, with good interpersonal and communication skills to work with peers and executives in matrix and functional structures
  • Strong writing & communication skill, multi- language is preferred
  • B2B E commerce experience is preferred
  • Experience of organizing Key account leaders engagement in Chemical industrial and Strategical collaboration MOU development experience is preferred
