This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering Manager
Join our dynamic engineering team to design and implement cutting-edge Gearless Mill Drive (GMD) systems, ensuring seamless project execution, cost efficiency, and technical excellence. This role offers global exposure through commissioning and maintenance activities, while ensuring quality and customer satisfaction in close collaboration with project leadership.

This role is contributing to the Process Industries division in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Design or co-design technical solutions for Gearless Mill Drive systems (GMD), including clarification and coordination of all relevant engineering aspects during project execution
- Conduct cost streamlining and ensure project targets are met fully, in addition to carrying out inspections and performing factory acceptance tests
- Oversee or assist with commissioning and maintenance of GMD systems at customer sites worldwide, including troubleshooting
- Issue and review technical specifications and data sheets, project documents, and customer documentation work in close cooperation with Team Leader for the purpose of co-managing costs, schedules, and quality, thereby improving profitability and ensuring customer satisfaction
Qualifications for the role
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering; emphasis on Power Electronics/Drive Technology essential for candidates with no prior work experience
- 3-5 years' experience in drive technology (or graduate without work experience for junior role)
- Technical knowledge of drive system engineering as well as experience relating to commissioning and service activities
- Well-developed interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a multicultural environment
- Proficient command of English at a technical/engineering level (both written and spoken)
- Willingness to travel on global commissioning and service assignments to remote sites (approx. 25% of working hours and up to several weeks per assignment)
