Within our Ports Electrification team, we design and deliver integrated power and automation systems that enable ports to decarbonize and operate efficiently.
Our scope includes Medium Voltage Substations, Medium Voltage Substations, Terminal Lighting and Reefer Racks, EV Charging Infrastructure and Grid Connection Substations.
Our core offering? Prefabricated, fully tested substations built in our facilities in Panama. These compact units integrate all key electrical components—medium and low voltage switchgear, transformers, UPS, DC systems, fire alarms, and climate control.
We deliver projects worldwide—across the Middle East, Africa, Europe, and Latin America. Project timelines typically span 24 months. Throughout every phase, safety and integrity are core values embedded in our way of working.
Role description
We are looking for a hands-on and detail-oriented Warehouse Logistics Specialist to join our project team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to execute warehousing activities for incoming and outgoing goods. Each day, you will follow and ensure that others also follow established procedures and guidelines to receive, handle, store, record, and dispatch goods in the warehouse. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring various warehousing operations, including packing and storage, replenishment, picking, loading, and dispatching are executed in a safe, timely, and efficient manner.
The work model for this role is onsite at our location at the Maasvlakte.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Process incoming and outgoing goods, ensuring accuracy and compliance with procedures.
Maintain accurate data records in our ERP system.
Conduct quality checks on incoming items before storage.
Communicate daily with suppliers regarding deliveries and issues.
Participate in regular inventory audits and stock counts.
Ensure safe operation of warehouse equipment and adherence to safety protocols.
Maintaining accurate stock records (in/out) and updating material registers daily.
Ensuring proper handling, storage, and preservation of materials, tools, and equipment according to specifications (e.g., Electrical, Fiber Optic & grounding).
Controlling issuance of materials to subcontractors, site engineers, and work crews against approved requests.
Coordinating with procurement and logistics teams for deliveries, shortages, and returns.
Monitoring minimum stock levels and informing management of potential shortages.
Preparing daily/weekly material reports for project management/Site Manager.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience operating a forklift, with a valid forklift license (preferred).
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with inventory/ERP systems.
Strong organizational and record-keeping skills with a structured, detail-oriented, and organized working style.
Strong communication skills and a proactive, solution-oriented attitude.
Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to work independently and take initiative.
Previous experience in a similar role (e.g. Warehouse Specialist, Logistics Coordinator) is a strong plus.
Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) requirements on construction sites.
Good English communication skills (reading delivery notes, interacting with suppliers).
