Your Role: Own the Challenge
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers throughout the proposal process. You will act as a technical resource, preparing product and technology descriptions, estimating costs, and compiling final documentation.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
This role is contributing to the Robotics Industries Business Line in Mexico.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical guidance and solutions in response to inquiries from customers, sales channels, and Sales Specialists regarding ABB products, systems, and applications.
- Conduct analytical and diagnostic assessments to identify optimal technical solutions that meet customer needs and address complex inquiries.
- Support the development and maintenance of new sales opportunities, resolve specific customer issues, and contribute to achieving targets related to orders, Net Price Variance (NPV), and Net Promoter Score (NPS).
- Ensure budget goals are met, including volume targets and profitable growth, across all assigned product groups and markets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in automation or robotics.
- Experience in customer service.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency.
- Willingness to travel.
- Prior experience preparing quotations, particularly in automation or robotics.
- Knowledge of packaging and palletizing is a plus.
- Familiarity with mechanical design or robot simulation is an advantage.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
