This Position reports to:

Senior Project Manager

Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Project Manager to join our team in Grid Automation, ELDS in Vaasa. In this role you will be in charge of and work with standardized solutions projects of protection and automation systems. Due to the nature of the work and location of the development and test labs the position requires regular presence in Vaasa.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Leading the execution of digitalization delivery projects while effectively monitoring and controlling project progress
• Leading a project team of 3 to 10 persons as a part of the ABB’s global network
• Effectively building and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders through continuous communication
• Acting as the key contact for customers; escalating project issues, managing risks while ensuring that potential opportunities are identified
• Capturing, analyzing, and sharing lessons learned throughout the project to the team and relevant stakeholders

Qualifications for the Role

• At least a B.Sc. level degree from Energy Management and Systems Technology or equivalent
• Previous experience (> 2 years) from Project Management in a technical environment
• Good knowledge of the ABB products, such as Zenon Control system and Protection Relays used in the system
• Fluency in English and Finnish, both written and spoken
• Good leadership skills with a highly co-operative and organized way of working
• Previous experience especially in electrification of industrial projects
• Understanding of data center automation, renewable solutions and services
• A proactive and systematic way of working
• Swedish language skills are seen as an advantage
