This Position reports to:

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Own the solution architecture of a SaaS platform (Intelex )used for Health and Safety and compliance reporting. You will be responsible for designing and maintaining the platform architecture, ensuring it aligns with enterprise standards and supports business needs effectively. You will also consult and advise stakeholders on platform changes, integrations, and configuration governance—ensuring the system remains scalable and sustainable.

This role contributes to the global HSE data reporting and analysis efforts and supports all Business Areas across multiple regions. The role spans multiple architecture domains including application, integration, data, infrastructure, and security.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Lead the design and governance of the Intelex SaaS platform, serving as ABB’s technical owner and defining the architectural vision that guides its long-term evolution.
• Translate strategic objectives into actionable architecture roadmaps and implementation plans, ensuring alignment across technical and business stakeholders.
• Evaluate and guide change requests and enhancements, advising on platform capabilities, configuration best practices, and governance to ensure sustainable design choices.
• Oversee integrations with systems such as Workday and Master Data, using MuleSoft, and ensure high-quality, maintainable, and secure data flows.
• Design and implement new integrations and data automation pipelines, enabling more efficient data exchange and improving business process automation across ABB systems.
• Manage and optimize the Intelex–Snowflake integration, ensuring data quality, consistency, and alignment with ABB’s enterprise data architecture principles.
• Support and align the Snowflake–Power BI data flow, ensuring reporting and analytics structures accurately reflect Intelex data models and meet business insight needs.
• Collaborate closely with IS, business, and HSE teams to align platform capabilities with ABB’s strategic objectives and enhance the quality and reliability of global HSE reporting.
• Contribute to project planning activities, including scoping, feasibility assessments, and resource estimation, providing architectural oversight throughout delivery.
• Track development progress and platform changes in Azure DevOps, ensuring architectural standards and decisions are consistently implemented.

Qualifications for the role:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Previous experience in HSE management software, with a strong preference for Intelex is essential.
• Strong understanding of SaaS platform configuration, governance, and lifecycle management is a must.
• Experience working with integration platforms (e.g., MuleSoft); certification is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS).
• Experience in platform performance monitoring and scalability planning.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
