This Position reports to:
Senior Engineering ManagerAs an electrical engineering intern, you will assist the test and design engineer of machine-human interfaces for mine hoist system
You will be part of ABB Canada's Process Automation, Process Industries division and will be based in our Saint-Laurent office.
Your position and responsibilities
Testing of winch control and supervision systems Testing of SIL 3 brake control systems for winches Development of operator interface for hoisting systems (ABB mine hoists) Installation of software for operator interfaces and system maintenance computers
Help develop and maintain winch control and supervision systems
Writing and updating technical documentation and operating manuals
Qualifications for the position
Electrical engineering student.
General programming knowledge.
PLC experience an asset.
Good communication skills, able to approach others with questions.
Proactive in work.
