This Position reports to:
Superviseur, ingénierie de productionAs an IT Support Technician Intern, you will actively contribute to the maintenance and technical support of the IT infrastructure related to manufacturing operations within the Measurement & Analytics (PAMA) business segment in Québec. Under the supervision of the IT support technician for production engineering, you will participate in optimizing tools, processes, and production deliverables with the goal of reducing costs, improving quality, and meeting delivery deadlines.
Your Role: Take on the Challenge
Provide technical support to internal users (troubleshooting, software installation, workstation configuration).
Participate in the maintenance of the IT infrastructure (system updates, management of electronic equipment).
Contribute to projects aimed at improving IT and technological processes.
Document interventions and procedures using internal tools.
Define new work methods and tools, and train team members on their use.
What You'll Need:
College or technical studies in IT, electronic repair, or a related field.
Strong command of English, both spoken and written. French is required. English is also required to regularly communicate with clients outside Québec.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Knowledge of Windows environments, Active Directory, and ABB tools.
Autonomy, initiative, and a collaborative mindset.
