Your Role and Responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled and forward-thinking Solution Development Specialist to join our Operations team. In this role, you will contribute to the development of our key business applications including our ERP system (SAP). An important area is IT security related tasks. With increased focus on security your role will include working with closing findings from penetration testing and different vulnerability scanning’s.

Our product portfolio includes both traditional protection relays and pure software-based solutions, which brings a wide range of requirements for our systems. Your main stakeholders will include Sales, R&D, Production, and the New Product Integration Team

Due to our Lead Factory role, the position also involves close collaboration with other factories in India and China. We recognize that every professional brings a unique set of strengths and interests. Therefore, the role will be shaped partly based on your own expertise and motivation, allowing you to focus on areas where you can create the most impact.

You will mainly be responsible for:

• Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to design and implement system improvements
• Executing the development and optimization of our IT systems to support new product launches and business processes
• Coordinating and contributing to the development of other business-critical IT systems
• Ensuring scalability, reliability, and business value of implemented solutions
• Supporting system development and maintenance in our international manufacturing sites

Qualifications for the role

• Technical education at Bachelor's or Master's level (e.g. Engineer or equivalent)
• Ability to understand IT infrastructure, physical server environments, cloud servers and cloud subscriptions
• Solid experience in SAP development and/or other ERP systems
• Strong understanding of business processes and the ability to translate requirements into technical solutions
• Excellent collaboration and project management skills
• Fluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken
