Your Role and Responsibilities
Working as a Associate software engineer in projects with Mobile Robotics, you will be part of the team to cover development lifecycle and leads the integration of the software “Fleet Management Systems” in the facilities of ABB clients.
We will work to join the ABB Mobile Robotics and software in environments with industry 4.0. and the latest technology teams.
In this role, you will lead and collaborate with other engineers in technical software deliverables in various phases of worldwide client projects to ensure successful deliveries on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.

- Independently contributes to the industrial software development lifecycle.
- Ensures software engineering is carried out in compliance with ABB standards and guidelines.
- Collaborate between self-organizing cross-functional teams (project managers, other engineers and business stakeholders) to deliver customer projects.
- Delivers user-friendly software by improving and adapting through continuous solutions delivery with active feedback from customers and stakeholders.
- Assist project managers and other engineers in technical reviews, meetings with customers in the resolution of technical problems.
- Management, development and ensure the proper implementation of the proposed system in the client's facilities within the expected period.
- Creates highly structured and maintainable code, deliverables and documentation.
Your background
- 1-4 years of experience in software teams working as project engineer with industrial projects.
- Programming languages, C#, NETCore, APIRest, Powershell, Phyton, typescript.
- Demonstrated knowledge in protocols OPC UA/DA, PLCs, SCADAs, Inputs/Outputs Devices
- Knowledge in: MQTT, AMQP, https, SSL, Certificates, Brokers RabbitMQ
- Database SQL (SQL lite, SQL Server, Oracle)
- Demonstrated knowledge in QA, Atlassian, Agile Software projects techniques.
- Demonstrated experience to integrate, configure, test, and validate software systems developed in an orderly and efficient way, applying knowledge and optimizing the software to be installed.
- Spanish and English languages (required).
