Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day, you will be responsible to meet order demand, specifications, quality, and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment, personnel, and production processes (quantity, quality, budgeted costs, and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs, projects, goals, and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.
This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiame China.
You will be mainly accountable for:

This role is contributing to the EL Smart Power business in Xiame China.
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Implement MU priorities in the IPU within the area of responsibility and
contribute to increasing business profit, customer satisfaction and
operational effectiveness. - Ensure that responsible area is properly organized, staffed and directed by the collaboration with functional managers. Build an effective, capable and high performing team. Respond to resource issues as necessary. Lead
capacity planning and resource optimization for the assigned unit. - Ensure production scheduling and production plan meets the volume
requirements agreed in the demand plan and defined inventory service
levels to achieve established targets. - Lead and manage manufacturing function and operation teams and
processes. Implement localization plan. Improves manufacturing technology
and competence in line with MU priorities. - Execute quality management for monitoring and validating day to day
control of processes. To maintain the effective running of production
system and QPR in assigned unit. To chair regular quality circle meeting (level 1&2) and Gemba meeting. Ensure manufacturing operations are in compliance with applicable standards. - Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes. Drive continued
improvements in productivity, delivery performance and cost optimization. - Identifies and recommends technical equipment and facility improvements
as necessary to ensure production resilience. - Living ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means ensuring a

identify and cultivate high-potential employees for key positions. - Proactively shape a customer-centric, continuous improvement, and
accountability-driven culture within IPU. - Lead the digital transformation of IPU, promoting advanced technologies
such as data analysis and automation/intelligence. - Deepen the lean production system, systematically eliminating waste. It includes strengthening collaboration with departments like planning and
procurement to optimize end-to-end supply chain processes.
Qualifications for the role
- Bachelor’s Degree or above with major in Engineering, Business or related.
- More than 8 years of experience including operations, quality management
or related experience.Good knowledge of manufacturing processes and various CI system. - Strong leadership competency to motivate and develop an effective &
collaborating team. - Good communication skills in both English and Chinese.
- Ability to work at a strategic and operational level with sense of continuous
improvement and results-oriented. - Ability to make decisions in critical and urgent situations.
