Your Role and Responsibilities

We are now looking for a new Production Supervisor to join our team at ABB Smart Power in Vaasa Finland. In this role you will be a part of our line management organization, leading your own teams in production.

You will mainly be responsible for:

• Managing production teams and ensuring that operations are executed in a safe, timely and efficient manner
• Ensuring your team´s ability to respond to customer needs quickly and with high quality
• Continuously developing the productivity and quality of own teams
• Ensuring the required skill levels in your teams and setting individual growth targets for the team members
• Collaborating with different stakeholders
• Ensuring safety and well-being at work

Qualifications for the role

• B.Sc. in engineering and relevant working experience
• Few years’ of experience from working with production or production processes
• Basic knowledge in automation and robotics
• Good teamwork, problem-solving and decision-making ability
• Good negotiation and presentation skills as well as overall interpersonal and collaboration skills
• A committed approach to work and a positive mindset
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills in Finnish. Other language skills are an advantage
• Previous experience and knowledge of different Switch products
• Experience in SAP or similar ERP systems
• Previous leadership experience and safety knowledge of safety regulations are considered an advantage
