At ABB Robotics in Mölndal, you’ll work on RobotStudio—the leading platform for robotic programming and simulation—used by thousands of engineers worldwide. At ABB Robotics, we are part of a globally distributed R&D organization, with each location contributing its unique expertise. In our Mölndal office, we focus on developing the RobotStudio product family—a suite of tools for robotic programming, modeling, simulation, and offline programming of ABB robots. Together with colleagues worldwide, we are shaping the future of industrial and collaborative robotics in close partnership with our customers. To strengthen our software team, we are now looking for an experienced C#/.NET developer to join us.
Location Requirement: Mölndal (Gothenburg), Sweden
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the team effort of developing and maintaining RobotStudio.
- Collaborate with data engineers, designers, and simulation experts to enhance digital twin accuracy.
- Help to build tools to bridge the knowledge gap between robotics engineers and simulation experts to get accurate simulations.
- Debug, troubleshoot, improve and Optimize system performance.
- Stay updated with C#/.Net and agile development
Qualifications
- BSc or MSc in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Proven experience in C#/.NET development and building robust desktop applications.
- Knowledge of C++ and WPF.
- Solid understanding of the .NET framework for scalable, efficient software.
- Experience with 3D graphics or robotics is a strong plus.
- Familiarity with structured quality assurance practices, including unit and integration testing.
- Strong interest in robotics, intuitive programming, advanced simulation, and digital twin concepts, with the ability to dive deep into technical details while maintaining a strategic, long-term perspective.
- Collaborative team player who inspires and contributes to shared success.
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, prioritization and communication skills.
- Fluency in English; willingness to learn Swedish if not already fluent.
