This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you're responsible for leading and managing industrial engineering activities to complete NPI projects, improve productivity, reduce costs, and optimize operational efficiency in terms of production set-up, Master data management, process optimization, engineering change, problem solving, quality improvement and continuous improvement.

The work model for the role is: on site

You will be mainly accountable for:
  • Strategic Planning: Develop industrial engineering strategy, establish and improve management systems and process standards for lean production, cost control, and efficiency improvement.
  • Resource Planning & Budget: Review the overall capacity planning and human resource allocation model, lead the solution of major resource bottlenecks, ensure capacity flexibility, and guarantee on-time order delivery; Monitor the overall budget and costs and be responsible for the department's cost objectives.
  • NPI Projects: Lead or give support to the NPI projects, drive and actively manage the risks to complete the projects on time and on quality.
  • Process and Standardization Management: Be responsible for process planning, SOP preparation, standard time measurement, BOM maintenance, tooling & fixture management, and approval of production engineering data; Maintain the standard working hours in SAP/MES and implement related projects to improve data accuracy.
  • Production System Optimization: Lead the overall design and continuous optimization of the production system, review and make decisions on major automation and new technology introduction plans, promote intelligent manufacturing upgrades and digital integration.
  • Lean Improvement and Cost Control: Lead cross - departmental lean improvement projects, systematically promote the elimination of waste, improve OEE, and reduce manufacturing costs.
  • Team development and Management: Be responsible for the construction, training, and performance management of the IE team, cultivate core talents and establish mutual backup; promote knowledge precipitation and sharing, improve the overall professional ability of the team.


Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
  • Education background: Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical, electronics, electrical automation or relative background. A master’s degree is preferred.
  • Working experience: At least 6 years of experience as an IE/PE/ME in the manufacturing field of a multinational company, and 3 years’ experience of project management. Supervisory or management experience is preferred.
  • Proficiency in lean production tools and methods
  • Strong technical background, passionate for technology and engineering, and be familiar with production automation and Industrial 4.0 technologies.
  • Strong data analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Good communication skills
  • Fluent English speaking and good in writing
  • Taking responsibility, ownership and making decision with risk
  • Ability to work under pressure and be self-motivated
