This Position reports to:
Global Planning & Fulfillment Manager
This role is contributing to the Measurement & Analytics Instrumentation Business Line globally.
In this role, you will support the development of the planning and fulfillment related processes, skills and tools with specific focus on Demand planning and Inventory management processes.
You will contribute to the BL performance improvement, providing overall Sales and Operations Inventory Control and Support to improve Customer on-time delivery while reducing net working capital and inventory costs.
As part of BL SOP process, you will support the generation of demand plan and finished goods rationalization in close coordination with relevant functions. Facilitate the creation of Supply plans to support sales development while assuring optimization of inventory levels in Sales Units and in Factories. Measure, report and drive improvement of demand planning accuracy and inventory alignment to plans.
You’ll have the opportunity to design and actively implement processes to streamline the E2E planning and execution of Customer Orders, thus collaborating with both Sales Units and Manufacturing Units as part of an effective process integration effort.
Your ability to work with cross-functional Teams and understand challenges and opportunities from all impacted standpoints will be a key success factor.
You will be able to define supporting tools enhancements to effectively support local and global Teams planning execution.
You will also showcase your expertise by implementing effective planning strategies in line with business strategy to ensure that factories have the capability and capacity to meet current and future business requirements.
You will be part of the Instrumentation Business Line Operations Team and will report to the Global Planning and Fulfillment Manager of the Business Line.
Key responsibilities:
Continuously improve the Sales and the Operations Inventory Control practices in concert with cross functional peers in Value Streams and Supply Chain.
Design, deploy and lead an Inventory Mgmt. governance across the Business Line to properly monitor and support inventory optimization by all Units.
Coach and lead the deployment of inventory management best practices globally in line with Division/Business Line objectives.
Support optimal suppliers Capacity Planning & Execution by providing process guidance and facilitating material demand forecasting provision.
Support On-Time Delivery improvement & Manufacturing Lead Time reduction by assuring optimal inventory levels are available.
Guide and coordinate the cross-functional interaction within Sales, Operations, Product Lines aimed at continuous creation/review of demand plans. Consolidate and analyze all data pertinent to demand/supply/financial planning to provide solid basis for SOP decision making process.
Support the enhancement and deployment of Demand Planning processes as part of Business Line Sales & Operations Planning
Support the creations of Supply plans to support demand fulfilment and drive the optimization of inventory levels aligned with demand plan
Work with Factories teams to ensure the local materials procurement plans and capacity plans are aligned with product sales demand.
Collaborate with local Teams to assure material planning strategies and methods are aligned and coherent with market requirements and Company targets.
Key requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business or related disciplines
10+ years of experience and track record in Operations planning and supply chain management in global complex companies preferably in Industrial automation, automotive, and aerospace.
Strong cross-functional Team collaboration skills.
Proven experience in planning, managing, and tracking improvement activities.
Advanced knowledge of SAP ERP operations modules
Highly proactive and results-driven attitude, strategic approach to decision-making in a global perspective.
Experience in a highly international and multi-cultural environment.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken, and teamwork skills, organizational skills, and people management
Availability to travel is required
