This Position reports to:
Global Application & Architecture ManageYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)
In this role, you will have the opportunity to take a lead on the design, development, and delivery of cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure. This role combines strong technical expertise with proven leadership capabilities to guide a team of approximately 10 cloud engineers and developers. The ideal candidate will drive architectural decisions, ensure high-quality solution delivery, and foster a collaborative, high-performance engineering cultures.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions & Service divisions.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation of cloud-native solutions leveraging Azure services (App Services,Functions,Kubernetes, APIManagement, Storage, etc)
- Define cloud architecture patterns, development standards, and best practices.
- Conduct code reviews, design reviews, and provide hands-on technical guidance.
- Oversee cloud security, performance optimization, scalability, and cost management strategies.
- Evaluate and implement emerging cloud technologies and frameworks.
Team Leadership & Management
- Manage and mentor a team of 10 cloud developers/engineers, supporting their professional growth and performance.
- Plan and allocate resources across projects according to priorities and deadlines.
- Promote a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams including DevOps, security, product owners, and stakeholders.
Project & Delivery Management
- Collaborate with product and project managers to define requirements, timelines, and milestones.
- Ensure successful delivery of cloud applications and services from concept to deployment.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate technical risks.
- Drive agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Translate business requirements into scalable and secure cloud architectures.
- Communicate technical decisions, solution designs, and project updates to leadership and stakeholders.
- Partner with internal and external teams to ensure architectural alignment and solution quality.
Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)
- Bachelor's Degree in IT/Computer Science discipline
- Proven experience leading and managing technical teams (min 8–12 people)
- Strong proficiency in cloud-native development using C#, .NET, Python, or similar languages.
- 10+years Solution & Enterprise Architecture experience (Cloud & on-prem architecture, Integrations, large-scale system design and implementation)
- Strong leadership and & result oriented
- Fluent spoken and written English
- Ability to create, develop and evaluate practical solutions from complex topics with multiple stakeholder interests.
