At ABB’s Process Automation Digital Quality Engineering Centre of Excellence (PADI QE COE), you’ll be at the heart of delivering trust, reliability, and innovation for our customers. This is not a typical quality assurance position — it provides a chance to join a specialized engineering group that ensures quality throughout all aspects of the Genix IIoT and APM platforms, including Datapost pipelines, Edge connectivity, AI/ML validation, visualization, and customer solutions

Roles & Responsibilities:
Develops and enhances complete and sizable software modules in the assigned software engineering function in platform or application management. Provides accurate project schedule estimates and ensures their successful completion within the deadline. Executes assigned design and development activities focused on building solutions in an efficient and cost-effective manner and in accordance with quality standards.
The work model for the role is: Hybrid
You will be mainly accountable for:
- Responsible for validating predictive asset models across electrical, mechanical, and 800xA/FIM systems, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure domain-specific correctness of asset models.
- Develop automated regression test packs to support predictive workflows and maintain model integrity.
- Integrate test results into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous validation and improvement.
Qualifications for the role:
- Comprehensive understanding of electrical, mechanical, and control systems (800xA/FIM) is required.
- Practical involvement in verifying asset models in industrial settings to guarantee precision and dependability.
- Proficient in test automation using tools such as Python and Playwright.
- Solid understanding of predictive analytics and reliability engineering principles.
- Collaborates effectively with domain SMEs to ensure model correctness and alignment with industrial requirements.
- Experienced in developing automated regression tests for domain-specific validations to improve efficiency and model reliability.
- Holds a B.Tech or M.Tech degree with 5–8 years of experience in industrial asset management or predictive analytics, contributing to seamless integration and improved outcomes
