Your role and responsibilities
The Finland/Denmark Robotics Business Controller assumes full responsibility for financial oversight and strategic financial management across for the Robotics Division in Finland/Denmark and its legal entity(ies). Acting as a key business partner to operational and functional leaders, this role ensures robust financial control, drives performance, and enhances financial decision-making at a regional level.
The role is located in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki, Finland.

You will be mainly accountable for:- Ensuring compliance with global and local fiduciary standards, including US GAAP, local statutory reporting, legal, tax, and internal controls
- Overseeing the financial accounting, reporting, and controlling functions for the legal entity(ies) in-country
- Ensuring compliance with statutory requirements, including statutory filings, tax returns, VAT, and other regulatory obligations
- Managing audits, liaising with external auditors, and ensuring accurate and timely statutory reporting
- Establishing and maintaining local (finance) governance frameworks aligned with local and global regulations including assurance and internal controls
- Monitoring and controlling cash flow, treasury activities, and bank relationships
- Acting as the authorized signatory for statutory filings, legal documentation, and regulatory submissions
- Acting as a strategic business partner to regional leadership, ensuring financial performance optimization
- Overseeing financial planning, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis, ensuring accuracy and transparency
- Leading the Business Performance Management process, driving demand order budgeting and forecasting
- Defining and implementing financial controls, risk mitigation strategies, and compliance frameworks
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (CPA, ACA, CMA, or equivalent qualification preferred)
- 5+ years of experience in financial controlling, business finance, or regional finance management in a multinational or B2B industrial setting is essential
- Strong expertise in financial planning, forecasting, business performance management, and project controlling is relevant
- Experience leading finance functions across multiple countries, with knowledge of Nordic financial regulations is essential
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, capable of influencing at all levels
- Advanced proficiency in ERP systems (SAP preferred), financial analytics tools, and Excel
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with a focus on efficiency and continuous improvement
- You are fluent in English and Finnish, both written and spoken
