This Position reports to:

Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support engineering activities in all types of project sizes and complexities, under the supervision of senior engineers. Each day, you will complete the tasks cost-effectively and in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.

You will also showcase your expertise by collecting data and supporting production of the engineering design.

This role is contributing to the Process Automation business in Energy Industries based in Bangalore, India.

You will be mainly accountable for:

• Develop and implement ongoing DCS system security strategies and engineering application standards.

• Apply knowledge of security standards such as IEC 62443/ISA 99, NIST SP 800-82, or NERC CIP and Work with firewalls, networking systems, and IDS/IPS technologies.

• Define, design, and implement enterprise cybersecurity solutions to safeguard against advanced threats in diverse environments.

• Demonstrate a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles such as defense-in-depth, network segmentation, security monitoring, incident response, access management, OT patch management, and secure remote access.

• Think with a security-first mindset and apply expertise in OT environments, corporate application access control, network routing, packet analysis, and cyber threat analysis.

Qualifications for the role:

• 1-4 Yrs of experience with managed switches, firewalls, network analysis tools (e.g., Forescout), network monitoring systems (e.g., Nozomi), and SIEM platforms (e.g., QRadar, Splunk, LogRhythm).

• Proficient documentation skills to create clear and consistent guidelines and customer materials and Ability to work independently and collaboratively in team settings.

• Engineering degree with experience in networking or cybersecurity.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Willingness to travel as needed.
