Your Role and Responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to implement product marketing strategies in line with global product strategy in assigned area to meet business objectives. Each day, you will implement marketing activities and support the Sales organization in increasing sales and services for respective products. You will also showcase your proficiency by enhancing sales efficiency through providing appropriate product knowledge information and training.
The work model for the role is: #LI – Hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions (Medium Voltage) Business in Malaysia. Main stakeholders are ABB Valued Customers, Partners & Employees.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Implementing the local go-to-market product marketing strategy, including defining and communicating product value propositions and positioning in line with global strategy.
Ensuring product marketing targets and budgets are met through regular monitoring and implementing improvement plans as needed.
Executing annual marketing plans in collaboration with relevant business units/product groups and preparing business plans focused on business development for defined markets.
Supporting the Sales organization/customers in determining technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and preparing demanding offers.
Qualifications for the Role
Degree/Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering.
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in engineering product management or sales.
Knowledge of medium voltage products such as switchgear, MV outdoor products (LBS, Recloser, Insulator), MV indoor products (VCB, CT/VT, VI, sensors), or distribution solutions portfolio.
Demonstrated skill in developing and managing customer relationships with a collaborative, solutions-oriented approach.
Proficient product-to-market sense and ability to communicate effectively internally and externally.
Fluent in written and spoken English.
Willingness to travel up to 30% locally.
